About Me

I am the CoFounder & CEO of Thomas & Wynter R&D. My R&D Company currently has 2 subsidiaries: The Slip Guard and T|W Tote . My educational background is in mechanical engineering and industrial design from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and University of the Arts, respectively.

My other titles include international speaker, instructor, entrepreneurial coach and corporate employee. I have vast experience in the corporate space, currently working as a consultant, with more than 13 years in product and project management, holding both Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications. I have vast experience in product development, vendor management and business development.

My approach to life is simple:

“Does this solution solve the underlying problem?”

Resume

In 2014, I took my skills to the classroom. I realized my success and failures were well received by those attending my classes and speaking engagements. Sharing experiences not only strengthened my skills but also allowed for me to be seen as relatable, someone people can trust and opened up to. In addition, I found myself wanting to walk the journey with my students; whether it was their desire to change professions, improve their current skills or launch of a startup venture.

Sherika is a GEM and one of the best instructors I’ve ever had in my academic lifetime. She is an incredible teacher and able to break down complex terms into a digestable way. But more than that, she’s approachable, honest, transparent, and a great leader. I learned a lot from her personal anecdotes and appreciated how she helped us grow not just with the learning material but grow as confident women ready to enter the world of product. THANK YOU SHERIKA WE LOVE YOU!!!
